Matcham

Over in Matcham, we’re breathing new life into a home with good bones and plenty of character. Rather than reinvent the house, the clients want to refurbish it – to bring its cottage warmth back to the surface and make it more comfortable to live in for years to come. New timber windows and doors from Windoor, including large sliders that open onto the pool deck, will flood the living spaces with light, while a facelifted kitchen, fresh linings and full insulation throughout will add comfort without losing the home’s easy charm.

Outside, we’re rebuilding the deck from the ground up using Millboard Composite decking, and downstairs, the rumpus room is being finished with beautiful GatherCo stone and a cosy gas fireplace. Worked up carefully with Pair Studio through a considered pre-construction process, it’s a warm, light-filled refresh – and we’ll be back with the after shots once it’s done.
